Hi All, Thank you for all your support as we search for Allie, but now we truly need your help. Allie has been gone for 11 days now and we have to assume that she has had help staying underground. This means that she was lured to New York, most likely by somebody she met in a chat room on the Internet. The media c...overage that we have received so far has led to tremendous amount of leads but we still haven't found Allie. We think the only way to put pressure on the person holding her, and to keep the leads coming, is to sustain media coverage. To do that we want to create a media event for the next six Saturdays to help bring Allie home for the holidays. For the next six Saturdays from noon until four we would like to have 100 people to stand on street corners in New York City wearing T-shirts and displaying flyers about our missing daughter. Because many of you will want to help immediately you will want to take the first weekend. But what we truly need is support for the long-term. Weekend six may be just as important as weekend number one. It's painful for us to talk about the long-term when it comes to finding our only daughter, but we must move from crisis to a long-term plan. That is easily the most painful paragraph we've ever written in our lives. We need to ask you to volunteer two Saturdays out of the next six to help bring Allie home. We will provide T-shirts and we are working on a way to get the flyers printed for such a large group of people over such a long period of time. If you can help, please e-mail findallieloftis@gmail.com with your availability. Also, because it's been a long time since we have lived in the city, we could use your help selecting locations. We thank you for your support in what has been the most difficult period of our entire lives. We hate to reach out to you for your continued assistance, but this is our only daughter and we desperately want her home.
