As I expected, PMS week was tiring but I did get some practice done. Monday I did 20 minutes of walking glute drills and later worked with zils using "Dual" and "Wild Winds" for a total of 25 minutes, layering threes with Basic Egyptian and pivot shift step. I can play good zils when just standing or walking but I lose control when I do actual moves.
Tuesday I finished the Jamila Basic Steps dvd, doing the fourth and fifth sections and the full review. I played zils for a couple of minutes. I listened to the Level one singles audio drill to get a sense of the difficulty level. That evening I did a kundalini yoga class at the Sikh temple at Skeena.
On Thursday I warmed up with a short walk, did 10 minutes of a Three Quarter class before my right thigh acted up. In the evening I did a gentle yoga class at the wellness clinic near my house.
Today I felt emotionally exhausted by doing my own taxes for the first time, so I chose not to practice today. But even though I didn't practice as much as I would have liked to I do feel emotionally in a good place. Next week is period week and I go back to summer school, so I have low expectations training wise. I'll feel good if I practice just once or twice this coming week.
