To show my life doesn't suck all the time
Apr. 6th, 2011 05:21 pm I was feeling very miserable this morning; I had to scrounge out my penny vase to get enough money for a Mcdonald's quarter-pounder and soda and then I missed the bus and had to walk all the way to the skytrain station. When I got to the college United Way were giving away hot dogs and sodas in exchange for a 2.5 dollar donation; they were kind enough to accept the remaining half dollar in change instead.
But the last day of school went well! My sociology exam was fairly easy; I'll pass, if nothing else. My monologue for drama class was not as good as it should have been, but again I think I'll pass. I got back my theatre review with a grade of A+, and I had a good conversation with my teacher who referred me to Theatre Terrific to help me work out my goals and plans as a performer. He said, "In order to get to the moon you have to shoot for the stars; the moon's a pretty cool place to be."
