Hair blogging the second
Feb. 17th, 2011 09:13 amThe oil massages have worked really well - except, when I skipped a couple of vinegar rinses, I woke up today with an itchy scalp. Won't make that mistake again. So today I washed my hair with the T-Gel shampoo and used the Body Shop Honey Balm conditioner, feeling that my new deep conditioner would be overkill. I think I need to make sure I use the vinegar rinse after every oil massage to make sure residue doesn't accumulate. Though the reason I was skipping the vinegar rinse is because my hair is VERY dry, and a plain shower washed away enough hair oil to make the hair itself look nice and silky. I've also been using tiny amounts of oil as a detangler and defrizzer.
I've previously avoided buying Rogaine because of the huge cost, but I recently heard of generic Rogaine. Unfortunately the pharmacy that provides my pills has a problem at the manufacturer, otherwise I'd put the cost of their brand of Rogaine towards my accumulated points. But I'm hoping one of the other local pharmacies carries generic Rogaine. In the meantime I'm headwrapping, unless I'm in a hurry.
